Recreation Department: Summer Intersession 2023

This year’s Summer Intersession camps will be held at Barley Sheaf School and Copper Hill School from Thursday June 29th through Friday July 28th. Camp will not be held on Monday July 3rd and Tuesday July 4th.

Registration is open to anyone in Grades Pre-K through 5th in the Flemington-Raritan Regional School District. There are three programs available. Click on these links for more information: AM PROGRAMPM PROGRAMFUN AT FOUR.

NOTE: No online registrations will be accepted after May 31st. If space is available, Onsite Registrations will be accepted from July 5th - 8th.
Fees are $250.00 for the AM program and $375.00 for the PM Program, payable by check.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Bring your child to the school entrance by 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 29th.
  • Please provide a snack and a drink.
  • Pick up times are 12 Noon for the AM Program and Fun at Four, 5:00 p.m. for the PM Program. Please be prompt.
  • You MUST Park and get out of your car for pickup and drop off. Children cannot cross the parking lot unescorted.
  • For your child’s safety, please have them wear sneakers. Inadequate footwear, such as sandals or shower shoes, will exclude your child from participating in running activities.

Please discourage your child from bringing personal items. We will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

SPECIAL NEEDS
If your child had an IEP or 504 Plan in place during this past school year, please see your site director when camp opens to provide additional information regarding your child’s IEP.  For the success of all participants, any information you can provide will be helpful to make camp a positive experience. This information needs only to be shared with the director at your specific site. If your child has a one-on-one aid during the school year, please reach out to the Recreation Director to confirm placement in our program.
