LEAF COLLECTION
Leaf Collection which shall consist of curbside pickup throughout the Township estimated to be conducted between October and December of each year. Leaf collection shall continue until every Township Road has been collected. Please help assist the Township in its effort to render the best service possible.
Please have all leaves at the edge of your property for a tentative start date of October 28th ,2024. The Township website will be updated with subsequent rounds and the start date of the final collection round.
- Property owners shall have all leaves for collection located and placed in a windrow fashion at the edge of their property, adjacent to the roadway but not within the roadway. Any leaves plowed off the roadway during a snow event will not be the responsibility of the DPW to clean up.
- No leaves shall be placed closer than ten (10’) feet from any storm sewer inlet.
- Leaves shall not be placed in bags or near silt fence.
- No branches, rocks, debris, or other foreign material shall be placed or located within the leaf pile for collection. Crews are instructed not to collect leaves if any debris is present.
- The Township will collect the leaves placed in the appropriate location. While efforts will be made to clean up all leaves placed at the curb, if there are any remaining leaves after collection, the property owner shall rake such remaining leaves back into the appropriate location at the edge of the property so that they can be collected if there is a subsequent round of collection.
- Leaves may be brought to the DPW Recycling Facility with the recycling permit.
