Storm-damaged household items can be dropped off at the Department of Public Works, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 7:30AM to 3:00PM, and Saturdays 7:30AM to 12:00 noon. Please present your Recycling/Non-recycling permit – your card will not be punched.

Free Temporary Permits are available at the Clerk's Office in the Municipal Building starting 9/7 or at the DPW office starting on 9/8. The Temporary permits are valid through September 18th. Proof of residency is required.  RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS OWNERS who sustained losses in Raritan Township can begin applying for assistance by registering online at http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.

Household Storm Debris Pickup

Sponsored by the Township Committee and the Raritan Township Police Benevolent Association (PBA)

Starting Monday September 13th, we will be sending volunteers with trucks to collect household items damaged by the storm. (No construction debris or yard waste.) Items must be placed at the curb in front of your home. You don’t need to be present for the pickup.
